Open Streets comes to Southbridge this Weekend!
Wilmington, DE: West Side Grows Together (WSGT), and the Urban Bike Project of Wilmington is excited to announce Open Streets: Southbridge occurring Saturday, June 25th in the Southbridge neighborhood of Wilmington on New Castle Avenue from D Street to A Street.
Open Streets Wilmington is a collaborative initiative of the Urban Bike Project of Wilmington, WSGT, and the Open Streets Wilmington steering committee. Open Streets Wilmington’s second location this year features New Castle Avenue. During the event, the street will be closed to vehicular traffic and open to pedestrians, cyclists, scooters, skateboards, and more. This event will also feature crafts for children, a scavenger hunt, outdoor yoga and fitness classes, free bike rentals, children's activities, and much more.
This Saturday, June 25th, community members may attend Open Streets on Southbridge - New Castle Ave. between 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Open Streets Wilmington locations rotate throughout the city to highlight a different Wilmington neighborhood each month through October. For future Open Streets dates, locations, and activities, visit openstreetswilmington.org.
