West Side Revitalization Plan Update
For over a decade, the West Side Grows Together neighborhood coalition has worked in the neighborhood with residents, business owners, and organizations to make the West Side the best community it can be through programming, advocacy, and organizing. West Side Grows Together is guided by listening to the needs, ideas, and priorities of residents throughout the year. The surveys, interviews, focus groups, and community meetings that were conducted serve as a blueprint for improvements in the 10-year update to the West Side Revitalization Plan which will guide future programming and services within the West Side of Wilmington for the next 10 years.

In 2011, West Side Grows Together and a coalition of community partners spearheaded the West Side Revitalization Plan with the goal of bringing the community together to improve the quality of life in West Side neighborhoods. Today, the West Side Plan Update builds upon the 2011 Plan to reflect on what has been accomplished, identify current needs and priorities, and establish next steps to implement them.
