The Open Streets Delaware Ave route creates car-free (or nearly car-free) connections between Rockford Park, Alapocas Run State Park, Brandywine Park, the Northern Delaware Greenway, and Trolley Square. Open Streets Wilmington invites you to explore the neighborhood and build the route into your weekend ride or walk. *Please note that the pedestrian bridge connecting Bancroft Mills Road to Alapocas Run State Park is closed due to damage from the flooding. The pedestrian “swinging bridge” in Brandywine Park remains open.
Womxn Bike Wilmington Brunch Ride!
Looking for a social opportunity to experience Open Streets and explore the area by bike? Join Womxn Bike Wilmington for a relaxed 6.5 mile ride. Beginners welcome! Parking Information
There are several free parking lots available in Rockford Park. There is also free and unrestricted on-street parking in the neighborhoods immediately adjacent to Rockford Park. Street parking in the Trolley Square neighborhood is typically time restricted and may be metered.
