United Neighbors
Established in 2018, United Neighbors brings residents, artists, and local organizations together to reconnect and celebrate Wilmington communities on both sides of I-95. Through public art, food, conversation, community improvements, and shared experiences, United Neighbors transforms the bridges spanning I-95 into spaces for connection and celebration.
With six collaborative murals completed across the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th Street and Delaware Avenue bridges, United Neighbors continues to bridge communities, honor their history, and create a shared vision for the future.

Join us for the United Neighbors 2026 Community Dinner …. an afternoon of food, art, music, movement, and community right on the 7th Street Bridge!
We’re bringing neighbors together from both sides of I-95 to eat, connect, celebrate, and continue reimagining how this space can bring our community together.
Expect food, music, pumpkin painting, sidewalk art, line dancing, community activities, United Neighbors project updates, and more!
This is more than a community dinner, it’s about reclaiming space, building connections, and meeting in the middle of it all. ❤️

Join United Neighbors 2026 as a Community Resource Partner! We welcome community organizations providing free resources, information, services, or youth activities for residents.
There is no selling or paid vending at this event. Participating organizations must provide their own table and chairs. Tents are not permitted.
