We are pleased to announce the recipients of our COVID-19 Small Business Relief Fund.. Over the past few weeks, we have seen the unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 crisis on our small business community in the West Side. Cornerstone West CDC and West Side Grows Together have been working diligently to support our small businesses who are suffering from forced closures and the reduction of daily business operations. Many of our small businesses are reporting an average of 60% to 80% loss in revenue. The impact of these economic changes will be felt for longer than the course of this pandemic.

As a community-driven development organization, we see our leadership role as imperative during this time of need. Thus, we have launched a COVID-19 Small Business Relief Fund. These funds have provided emergency monies to small businesses (revenue less than $1 million), primarily located on the Union, Lincoln, 4th Street, and Lancaster Ave corridors, for the purpose of covering monthly operational costs such as rent/ mortgage payments, utilities, staff lost wages and other monthly expenses.
